Day 01 US/China
Board your flight to China today.

Day 02 Arrival in Beijing
Upon arrival, you will be met by your guide at Beijing International Airport and transferred to your hotel. The rest of today is on your own. (Please note that check-in time is after 12:00 p.m.).

Day 03 Beijing (B/L)
A full day excursion by seat-in-coach to the Great Wall - the landmark of China, stretching almost 4,000 miles from the Pacific Ocean to the sands of Central Asia and befittingly crowned one of the ten wonders of the world. It is one of the most amazing feats of human labor. After lunch, a drive to the Ming Tombs along the Sacred Way with giant marble figures and animals guarding the tomb area for deceased emperors of Ming Dynasty (1368-1644AD).

Day 04 Beijing (B/L/SD)
A morning tour of Tian'anmen Square, the largest public square in the world, and the Palace Museum, known as the Forbidden City; the complex of imperial palaces are home to the emperors for over 500 years in the Ming and Qing dynasties. Some of the grand halls have been used as museums for fine collections of Chinese treasures. After lunch you will be driven to visit the Summer Palace, a former summer resort for the royal family, and take a boat ride on its Lake Kunming. This evening you will be treated to a delicious Beijing roasted duck dinner.

Day 05 Beijing / Kashgar (B)
You are picked up from hotel after breakfast and are transferred to airport. Take your flight to Kashgar. Upon arrival, meet our guide and transfer to Hotel.

Day 06 Kashgar (B/L)
In Kashgar, visit Abahoja Tombs, Idkha Mosque, and old part of Kashgar.

Day 07 Kashgar - Turpan (B/L)
We visit Sunday bazaar before transfer to railway station and leave Kashgar to Turpan.

Day 08 /Turpan (B/L/D)
Arrive Turpan Station around 12pm, meet our guide and transfer to Hotel. Today we will visit Iming Minerat, Kareze and Jiaohe Ruins. We will enjoy local Uigur music and dance show in the evening.

Day 09 Turpan - Urumqi (B/L)
The sightseeing this morning is to visit Bezeklik Buddha Caves, Astana Tombs, Gaochang Ruins, after lunch drive to Urumqi.

Day 10 Urumqi (B/L)
Today, you will have an excursion to the Heavenly Lake and shopping at bazaar.

Day 11 Urumqi - Dunhuang(B/L/D)
In the morning, we are going to have an excursion to Nashan Pasture. In the afternoon, you will visit Xinjiang Museum. In the eveining, you will transfer to train station and take overnight train to Dunhuang.

Day 12 /Dunhuang (B/L)
You will arrive to Liuyuan in the morning. Your tour guide will meet you at Liuyuan railway station, and transfer to Dunhuang. Followed you will visit Mogao grottoes, the singing sand hill and crescent moon lake, then visit the silk carpet factory or the luminous cups’ factory. Stay overnight at Dunhuang.

Day 13 Dunhuang (B/L)
Drive to visit Yumen pass & Great wall of Han Dynasty, Yardang landform geological park,West Thousand Buddha Cave. Stay overnight at Dunhuang.

Day 14 Dunhuang - Jiayuguan (B/L)
Take morning train to Jiayuguan city (0932/1411). Upon arrival, we visit Jiayuguan mural tombs of Weijin period. Stay overnight at Jiayuguan.

Day 15 Jiayuguan - Xian (B/L)
Visit Jiayuguan fort and the overhanging great wall. We have lunch at local restaurant before taking train to Xi’an.

Day 16 / Xian (B/L/D)
Arrive Xi’an railway station in the morning. Xi'an is the great ancient capital and the eastern end of the Silk Road. Your local tour guide will pick you up. This exciting day of sightseeing will include the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses at the Tomb of Qin Shi Huang, the first Qin Emperor, and the Bronze Chariots. After lunch at a local restaurant, visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which was built in 652 AD. It contains a large volume of Buddhist scriptures, which were obtained from India by the eminent monk Xuanzang. The Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show, a wonderful performance of the ancient music and dance, is a must when you visit Xian.

Day 17 Xian – Shanghai (B/L/D)
This morning, a city tour of the ancient city wall, one of few well preserved ones in China. In the afternoon, we visit the Shaanxi Provincial Museum where you will discover how Xi'an became the cradle of Chinese culture. After supper at a local restaurant, you will be transferred to railway station for overnight train to Shanghai, a cosmopolitan, bustling and heavily populated city in China.

Day 18 /Shanghai (B)
Upon arrive Shanghai this morning. You will meet your local tour guide in Shanghai railway station before you are transferred to hotel. You are free for the remainder of the day.

Day 19 Shanghai (B/L/D)
Your sightseeing this morning features a tour of the Yuyuan Garden, the old area of the city, and a stroll along the lively waterfront, known as the "Bund". After lunch, you will visit to the Jade Buddha Temple. Enjoy an acrobatic show for your evening entertainment after dinner.

Day 20 Shanghai departure (B)
At leisure in the morning until you are transferred to the airport for departure.
